Alcomdale is a hamlet in central Alberta, Canada within Sturgeon County.[1] It is located on Highway 44, approximately 34 kilometres (21 mi) northwest of Edmonton's city limits.

History
In 1965 a Toronto lawyer, Warner Alcombrack, brought his family to visit the small hamlet. He related that his father, Dr. Arthur Wellesley Alcombrack, an Edmonton dentist, had formed the community and named it for himself.[2]
Demographics
The population of Alcomdale according to Sturgeon County's 2008 municipal census is 50.[3]
