Summary

Most recent[1] 2006 house poll results as of Nov 6th. No party polls included. Darker colors indicate stronger support. Where no polls were available, last year's election results were used. If two polls tied for most recent, the _longer_ poll was used. I created this image from map data from the US gov't websites and poll data from www.electoral-vote.com Most of the discusssion of derivative works discusses photography. I wrote the software that made this map. It picks the colors. The numbers that end up corresponding to different shades of the colors come from facts (i.e. poll results).
