The newly opened intersection of Bayview and Finch, facing east, in the (then) Township of North York. Prior to this intersection opening, Finch turned south at Bayview along the diagonal road in the picture. A bridge then crossed over the deep chasm of Newtonbrook Creek to connect with the northern section of Bayview and the eastern section of Finch.
