Silver Drachma of partian king Mithradates II, aka Arsakes VIII (123-88 BCE), made in Ecbatan mint (Actual Hamedan city, Iran)

Obverse: king Mithradates represented into a greek fashion profile

Reverse: greek inscription "Basileus (king) Arsakes, the philhellen", king arsakes sitting on an omphalos and holding a bow. Note that the king wear the traditional iranian hat named Bashlik, and the traditional parthian baggy trouser.
