Joe Max Taylor Law Enforcement Center in Galveston, Texas. In the interest of efficiency and cost cutting, the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galveston_County,_Texas" class="extiw" title="en:Galveston County, Texas">Galveston County</a> Sheriff's Department and the City of <a href="//commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Galveston,_Texas" title="Galveston, Texas">Galveston</a> Police Department constructed a new "Law Enforcement Center" that combines some functions previously duplicated by each department -- ie: Dispatch, Jail etc. It is part of the new Galveston County Criminal Justice Center complex. It is named for former long-time Galveston County Sheriff, Joe Max Taylor.
