Built in 1907, the school was historically part of a complex of building related to the Precious Blood Catholic Church; the school and the parish rectory, located on the opposite side of Maple, have been added to the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Register_of_Historic_Places" class="extiw" title="w:National Register of Historic Places">National Register of Historic Places</a> as a part of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_of_the_Cross-Tipped_Churches" class="extiw" title="w:Land of the Cross-Tipped Churches">Cross-Tipped Churches of Ohio Thematic Resources</a>.
