IBM called this Solid Logic Technology (SLT). This photo shows a frame from an <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_1800" class="extiw" title="en:IBM 1800">en:IBM 1800</a> full of SLT printed circuit cards. The hybrid circuits are in the square metal cans.
