4 Fingers (also known as 4 Fingers Fried Chicken) is a Singaporean chain of fast food restaurants that specializes in Korean style fried chicken. Headquartered in Singapore, the chain was founded in 2009 and currently has 8 stores in Singapore and Malaysia. The company expanded regionally into Malaysia in 2015, currently with 1 store located in Kuala Lumpur.[1] 4 Fingers also has an outlet in Medan, Indonesia.[2]

History

Established in 2009, 4 Fingers was founded by 4 friends, hence the name 4 Fingers, after trying Bonchon Fried Chicken, a restaurant in New York City's Koreatown selling Korean-style fried chicken.[1]:{{{3}}} The company opened its first outlet at ION Orchard and had only one outlet until 2013, when the company was acquired by current CEO, Steen Puggaard. After the acquisition, the company expanded to 7 outlets in Singapore and in 2015, opened its first overseas branch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.[3]

Products and stores

Other than specialising in Korean-styled fried chicken, the chain restaurant also features other menu items including, burgers, rice boxes, salads and wraps. The interior design of the chain outlets features graffiti-marked walls and directional signs influenced by New York City's street style and subway signs.[4]
