Alessandro Rosa Vieira (born 8 June 1977), more commonly known as Falcão, is a Brazilian former futsal player.

In 2004 and 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup Falcão was recognised by FIFA as the World's Best Futsal Player.

After a brief spell in 2005 Copa Libertadores with São Paulo Futebol Clube, playing for the club during the first half of 2005, Falcão returned to Futsal and nowadays he represents Futsal Brasil Kirin AKA Sorocaba, a team from Sorocaba City in the State of São Paulo. At the end of each year, several awards are attributed to the players and teams which have distinguished from the rest, in different aspects of Futsal. In 2004, 2006, 2011 and 2012 Falcão was recognized as the Best Futsal Player of the World.

In 2008 and 2012 he helped the Brazilian National Team win their 4th and 5th title in the FIFA Futsal World Cup.

On 26 June 2015, Falcão joined Nottingham Forest futsal team for a tournament in Kuwait. [1]
