Alireza Karimi Machiani (Persian: علیرضا کریمی ماچیانی; born 21 March, 1994 in Karaj, Iran) is an Iranian freestyle wrestler that competed at the 2015 World Wrestling Championships at 86 kg.[1][2] He is the only one who was able to win two points against Abdulrashid Sadulaev of Russia. Alireza Karimi gave Abdulrashid Sadulaev his toughest bout of the 2015 World Championships. Every other bout outside of his loss to Sadulaev, Karimi tech felled his opponent. Victims included past world champions Ibragim Aldatov of Ukraine and Mihail Ganev of Bulgaria.[citation needed]
