Located on a 30-acre (120,000 m2) campus in Worcester, Massachusetts, Bancroft School is an independent, co-educational, Pre-K-12, college-preparatory day school serving the communities of Central Massachusetts and MetroWest Boston.
Bancroft has three divisions: Lower School (Pre-K–Grade 5), Middle School (Grades 6-8) and Upper School (Grades 9-12).

- Esther Forbes, Class of 1908, winner of the 1943 Pulitzer Prize for History for a biography of Paul Revere and the 1944 Newbery Medal for Johnny Tremain
