Bindhu Pamarthi is an American beauty queen who was Miss District of Columbia 2013. She was a contestant in the Miss America 2014 pageant, held in September 2013.[1]
Parmathi was born in Minnesota and has lived in New York, Mississippi, Denmark, and North Carolina.[2] She was crowned Miss District of Columbia 2013 on Sunday, June 9, 2013, the 60th anniversary of the Miss District of Columbia Pageant.[3] Her talent was a Bollywood dance and her platform was "Tolerance Upside-down: Intolerance for Blind Consumerism.”[3] She received her B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill[4] in Psychology and Political Science, Phi Beta Kappa.[2] She is currently a law student at Georgetown Law Center.[1][4]
