CJRK-FM
CJRK-FM is a radio station which will broadcast a multilingual format on the frequency 102.7 MHz/FM in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. The station is owned by East FM, through licensee 8041393 Canada Inc., which received approval to operate a new FM radio station serving Scarborough on November 5, 2014.[1] The station will launch on May 18, 2016, and will have a transmitter located atop an apartment building at Crow Trail and Neilson Road in the Malvern neighbourhood of Scarborough.[2]
The station's programming will target teenagers and young adults in south, east and west-Asian communities in Scarborough and the Durham Region communities of Ajax and Pickering, and will serve approximately 18 ethnic groups in a minimum of nine different languages.
