Annual attendance for CPO performances numbers over 150,000.
Founded in 1990 by Dutch conductor and composer Albert E. Moehring leading 75 musicians. In 2010, the Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra was unable to continue operations, due to the economic downturn.
