Chutti Chathan is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language 3D film written and directed by Jijo. The movie is a digitalized version of the 1984 Malayalam hit and first 3D Indian film My Dear Kuttichathan, with some extra footage added. Veteran filmmaker Rama Narayanan launched this movie through his Thenaandaal Movies banner. The additional scenes feature Prakash Raj and Santhanam. Veteran composer Ilayaraja wrote the music while Madhan Karki penned the lyrics.[1]

Release

Chutti Chathan' has 40 different magic sequences in its 100 minutes run. Unlike My Dear Kuttichathan, which was available in 3D only in the cities, this new film can be viewed in 3D even in the villages. Navodaya has made the advanced technical provisions for that. [2]
