Ciarduna is a type of Italian pastry.
Ciarduna siciliana is a traditional sweet pastry from the province of Palermo, Sicily (Italy). It consists of an almond cookie shell filled with a ricotta or mascarpone filling. Some variants are also covered with a shell of chocolate or chocolate frosting and powdered sugar.
