The group would perform a short selection of Christmas songs to entertain the younger viewers of the event, and were join the Cushion Kids played for many years by Terry Gill.[1] Several cast members noted the shows as a highlight and over the years it became common for the performance to be the final concert of departing members.[2] 2013 was the first year Hi-5 were not invited to perform at the Carols, and since then, the group have performed annual Christmas concerts at local Sydney events.[3] [4]
