Daniel Cotton (born 8 April 1988 is an English footballer, playing for Yaxley after having departed Spalding United after winning the United Counties League in 2013-2014. Previous clubs include Boston United, which he left after their double relegation in 2007. Cotton went back to Blackstones and then moved across to join Northern Premier League Division 1 South side Stamford and since moving to Soham Town Rangers and Spalding United.
The right-sided winger joined Boston United from local United Counties League team Blackstones, after impressing manager Steve Evans in a pre-season friendly game against the Pilgrims.
He made his debut against Bristol Rovers, coming on as a substitute in the second half, 10 days later he started the Football League Trophy match against Brighton & Hove Albion.
