Deivam Thandha Veedu is a Tamil soap opera that airs on Vijay TV. The show premiered on 15 July 2013 and airs Monday through Friday evenings. It is a remake of the serial Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. The show stars Roopashree, Meghna Vincent, Sravan Rajesh, Nisha and Venkat. The story plot revolves around cousins Seeta and Priya who are married into the Chakravarty family. Watch Chitradevi transform the naive Seeta into a confident young woman. The serial won two Vijay Television Awards one of which is for Favorite Fiction Series category and the other for Sudha Chandran as the Favorite Supporting Actor Female. On December 21, 2015, Roopashree who plays Oormila Devi in the Malayalam remake of the show, Chandanamazha, was cast as Chitra Devi replacing Sudha Chandran.
