Denis Larkin
Denis Larkin (1908 – 2 July 1987) was an Irish Labour Party politician and trade union official. He was the son of Dublin trade union leader, James Larkin.[1] He was first elected to Dáil Éireann as a Labour Party Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin North-East constituency at the 1954 general election and was re-elected at the 1957 general election.[2] He lost his seat at the 1961 general election but was re-elected at the 1965 general election.[3] He did not contest the 1969 general election. He served as Lord Mayor of Dublin from 1955 to 1956.
