Fauda (فوضى; means Chaos in Arabic) is an Israeli political thriller television series developed by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff and based on their experiences during their military service in a Mista'arvim unit. It premiered on February 15, 2015. The series has received generally positive reviews.
Contents
Plot
The series tells the story of Doron, a commander in the Mista'arvim unit, and his team as they try to catch a Hamas arch-terrorist known as "The Panther".
Filming
The first season of the series was filmed in Kafr Qasim, during Operation Protective Edge.
Reception
Critical response
The first season received nationwide acclaim, and was praised as one of the best Israeli TV Series.
Broadcast
The series premiered on February 15, 2015, on Yes.
