Frankixalus is a genus of frogs in the family Rhacophoridae.

The only species that has been formally assigned to the genus is Frankixalus jerdonii, which until 2016 had been placed in the genus Philautus.[3][2] However, DNA studies have revealed a second, as yet unnamed, species, which has a range including Arunachal Pradesh and Tibet.[3][2]

The name of the genus honours fr (Franky Bossuyt) from the Free University of Brussels.[4]

Frankixalus jerdonii is endemic to northeastern India where it is known from West Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh.
