Geita Region is one of Tanzania's 30 administrative regions. The town of Geita is the capital. The region was created in March 2012[1] from portions of the Shinyanga, Mwanza, and Kagera regions.[2]
The regional commissioner of the Geita Region is Magalula Saidi Magalula.[3]
