Helga Stephenson

Helga Stephenson is CEO[1] of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television on May 26, 2011. Stephenson was also a publicist.[2]

A graduate of McGill University (Bachelor of Arts, 1969), Stephenson was also head of the Toronto International Film Festival, for seventeen years, and its publicity director for several years prior. Stephenson is founder and co-chair of the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival, along with Brenda Dinnick.[3] Stephenson was co-host of the 2012 Genie AwardsNominee Press Conference,[4] along with actor Kevin Durand.[5]
