Henri Skiba (born July 14, 1927, original first name: Heinrich) is a former French football player of German origin who played for France national football team; he was then manager in Switzerland[1] and France.[2]

Skiba, a refugee from Silesia, was discovered by 1. FC Nuremberg when their "Oldies" team played a Bavarian non-league side in 1949.[3] He was signed for the first team but appeared in only two Oberliga Süd matches in the early stages of 1949-50 before moving on to France where he enjoyed a successful, if belated, career, winning his first full cap at 32.
