Highland High School is a public high school located in Highland, Indiana. It is part of the School Town of Highland. The school was founded in 1957 and incorporated in 1960. The High School and Middle School share the same physical plant. The High School houses grades 9-12 and the Middle School houses grades 6-8.

Accomplishments

In 2011, HHS graduated almost 93% and the 3 year average of 91%, a great improvement from 2009 Senior class graduating only 80%. 39% of the Class of 2012 earned college credit.

Highlights

Highland High School also has many extra curricular activities for students. The Highland Theatre Company, School Town of Highland Orchestra and many clubs are offered. All clubs will have membership open to all students who have an interest in the function in the club. Club meetings will be held approximately once each month. A club meeting schedule will be distributed by sponsors and posted in classrooms. Every activity or meeting must be under the direction of a staff member.
