Hippocampus biocellatus, the false-eyed seahorse, is a medium-sized species of seahorse that appears to be restricted to the Shark Bay region of Western Australia.[1] It is listed in Appendix II of CITES and in the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.[2]
