"I'm in the House" is a song by house DJ Steve Aoki, featuring vocals from Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am, posing as his alter ego, Zuper Blahq. The song was first released on November 23, 2009 via iTunes,[1] however, was made available as a single on March 7, 2010.[2] The song reached #29 on the UK Singles Chart on March 14, 2010, and later entered the UK Dance Chart and the UK Indie Chart, peaking within the top five in each chart. The song was featured on an Episode of MTV's Jersey Shore.
Music video
The song begins with Zuper Blahq declaring that he is in the house, although not specified at this moment, the person's house who he is in is that of Steve Aoki and this can clearly been seen in the video.[3] The song then applies a reverse story telling technique about how Zuper Blahq came to be in Steve Aoki's house. Zuper Blahq became lost and accidentally went to a house to ask for directions; it turned out it was the house of his good friend Steve Aoki. They find the situation incredibly amusing and decide to write a song in the style of electro about the series of unusual events.
