Jim Pohlad

Jim Pohlad (born 1953)[1] is the owner of the Minnesota Twins of the American League. He is the son of Eloise (O'Rourke) and businessman Carl Pohlad. Upon the death of his father, on January 5, 2009, he inherited ownership of the Twins franchise. He is also the majority share holder in MBI Energy Services. This is a Bellfield, ND based oil well servicing company that in August of 2015 laid off more than 50 employees due to faulty management of resources. [2]
