John Cyril Campbell

John Cyril Campbell (?-?) was an English athlete and football coach, the first of Panathinaikos F.C. (at that time Podosfairikos Omilos Athinon - Football Club of Athens).

He was an athlete with the Oxford University and later was established in Greece as a businessman. In Greece, he joined Ethnikos G.S. Athens and later Panathinaikos (the team of Giorgos Kalafatis) as a football player and coach.

In 1912, he was the founder of the fencing and the boxing department of Panathinaikos, while he was also trainer at the athletics department.

In 1914, he returned to England.
