Joshua "Josh" Lennie (born 23 March 1986) is an English footballer who plays for Wingate & Finchley as a goalkeeper.

Career

Brentford

Lennie started his career as a junior at Brentford and received his maiden call into the first team squad for a Football League Trophy first round match versus Barnet on 14 October 2003. Awarded the number 29 shirt, he was an unused substitute for the shootout win.[1] Lennie was an unused substitute on another four occasions during the 2003/04 season.[1] Lennie made his professional debut in the Football League Trophy first round on 28 September 2004 against Milton Keynes Dons.[2] With the game already lost at 3–0, Lennie came on as a half-time substitute for Alan Julian.[3] He was called into the first team squad on another six occasions during the 2004/05 season, but did not play.[4] Lennie was released during the summer of 2005.

Non-league football

After his release from Brentford, Lennie dropped into Non-League football. He played for AFC Wimbledon,[5][6] Harrow Borough,[7] Molesey,[8] Chalfont St Peter,[9] Carshalton Athletic (two spells),[10][11] Chertsey Town, (two spells),[12] Skelmersdale United,[13] Hayes & Yeading United,[14] Salford City,[15] Dorking Wanderers,[16] Bedfont, Chester[17] and Wingate & Finchley. He also had a loan spell with Maidenhead United.[18][11]
