Valeriya "Lerika" Engalycheva (Russian: Валерия Енгалычева; born 7 April 1999) is a Moldovan-Russian teen singer who represented Moldova in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "No-No", and Russia in the 2012 contest with "Sensatsiya" (Sensation).

Life and work

Valeriya Engalycheva was born on 7 April 1999 in Olomouc, Czech Republic. Engalycheva started to sing at the age of 4. She moved to Moldova, where her grandmother lives, at a young age and when she was 13 moved to Russia. Engalycheva participated in many singing competitions all over Europe including Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Orpheus in Italy, New Wave Junior, and Kinotavrik.

At age 12, she represented Moldova at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with her song "No-No," placing 6th with 78 points.

Engalycheva and her family moved to Russia in January 2012, where they became nationals. On 1 December 2012, she represented Russia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with her song "Sensatsiya" (Sensational), which came in 4th place with a total of 88 points.[1]
