Leyland 2S/350 gas turbine

The 'Leyland 2S/350' gas turbine was developed by British Leyland to power road vehicles it was also used in the British Rail APT-E train.
The engine was capable of developing 350 BHP continuously. The engine was a development of the Rover Companys engines that has been developed as part of its connection with Frank Whittle during WW2.
