Under construction
No airfield has so far been constructed on the islands of Saint Helena or Tristan da Cunha, which are at least 800 miles (1300 km) from Ascension Island or any other airfield.
- Saint Helena Airport (HLE), on Saint Helena island, is under construction and is due to be open in early 2016. The facility will have a 1,650 metres (5,410 ft) runway and will be a civilian airport.
