Liz Cochran (born August 7, 1988) is an American beauty pageant titleholder from Helena, Alabama. She was crowned Miss Alabama 2009 and competed for the Miss America 2010 title.[1]

Biography

Cochran is a native of Helena, Alabama and graduate of Pelham High School. She attends Birmingham-Southern College, majoring in dance and Pre-Medicine[2][3] and is a member of First Baptist Church of Pelham[4][5] She is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She competed in the Miss America Pageant on January 30, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nevada and was a finalist for the 2010 Quality of Life Award.[6][7]

Cochran also won the following competitions prior to Miss Alabama:[8]

  • Miss Pelham High School - January 2005
  • Shelby County Junior Miss - August 2005 (1st Runner-up in AL Junior Miss pageant)
  • Pelham High School Homecoming Queen - 2005
  • Miss Chelsea Area - 2007
  • Miss Shelby County - 2008
