"Love You till Tuesday" was a single by David Bowie, released on 14 July 1967. An earlier version of the song, recorded in February 1967, had been included on Bowie's debut album. The single, recorded on 3 June 1967, was a remake featuring added strings devised by Ivor Raymonde.

The result garnered good notices from the music press but, like his earlier singles, failed to break into the British charts. It was his final new release for Deram.

In a column reviewing recently released singles, Bowie influence Syd Barrett told Melody Maker in May 1967, "Yeah, it's a joke number. Jokes are good...I think people will like the bit about it being Monday, when in fact it was Tuesday. Very chirpy, but I don't think my toes were tapping at all."

Bowie's 1969 showpiece film Love You till Tuesday took its name from the song, which also featured over the opening credits.

Trivia

German versions ("Lieb' Dich bis Dienstag" and "Mit mir in Deinem Traum") exist of both songs of this single and are circulated over the internet as mp3s, but have never been officially released.
