Manpur is a block in Gaya District, India. The town is known for its handlooms and railroad tie factory. It is situated on the banks of the Phalgu river. It is a country side town where the people from the remote villages do their shopping. The main market is known as Manpur Bazaar. The main occupation of the people are business and handloom weaving. It is sometimes referred as mini-Kanpur by people of nearby villages and towns.

Patwatoli, a muhalla in Manpur, has produced 58 Indian Institutes of Technology entrants between 1996 and 2011.[1]

Pehani mohalla has the largest]] population in Manpur. There are three mosques situated in Pehani. It is also known for production of Agarbatti (the Cottage Industry). Manpur junction is present nearby the block.

The Manpur is also famous for Diwali as here hundreds of statues of Lordess Laxmi, Lord Ganesha and Lordess Saraswati is worshiped and decorated.There is also a very ancient temple of Lord Sun in Manpur named as Surya Mandir. Which is situated on the bank of a very fine Pond. The Surya Mandir was established around 400 years ago by Raja Man Singh, army chief of the greatest Mughal Emperor Akbar as well as king of Amber. Actually hole Manpur is also established by Raja Mansingh during his compaign to destroy Bengal riots. In Patwatoli near the Shiv Mandir, Semraj Ram Park, Durga Asthan and at the Ganj mohalla has the highest amount of powerlooms installed.There are almost 2000- 3000 powerlooms set up. People of all over Manpur come out of their houses in Diwali to see the very well decorated statues. In Diwali, idol of a club is famous and the club name is "MAA BADAULAT CLUB"
