Mayflower Transit, LLC is a moving company founded in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1927 by Conrad M. Gentry and Don F. Kenworthy. In March 1995, it was acquired by UniGroup. UniGroup is a $1.7 billion transportation and relocation services company with headquarters in suburban St. Louis, Mo. In addition to household goods carriers United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit, logistics company UniGroup Logistics and international relocation providers UniGroup Relocation and Sterling Relocation, UniGroup owns other subsidiaries that provide goods and services to professional movers.
Baltimore Colts

Based in Indiana at the time, Mayflower earned the ire of Baltimore Colts fans when the company moved the football team in the middle of the night from its headquarters in Owings Mills, Maryland, to its new home in Indianapolis.[1]
