The Movement for Socialism (Spanish: Movimiento Al Socialismo, MAS) is a Trotskyist (revolutionary left-wing socialist) political party in Argentina. It was founded in 1982 and led by Nahuel Moreno until his death, in 1987. From 1988 on, within the next 4 years, the MAS would split into more than 20 groups.[citation needed]

Under the name Nuevo MAS (New MAS) it stood in the Argentine legislative election, 2009 in an alliance with the Socialist Workers' Party and Socialist Left. However, unlike these other two parties, it declined to join the Workers' Left Front in the 2011 elections. It stood in the primary elections in the Argentine legislative elections, 2013 but did not do particularly well.[citation needed]
