Muthaaram (Tamil: முத்தாரம்) is an Tamil soap opera that was aired on Sun TV. The show premiered on 14 November 2011. It aired Monday through Saturday at 12:30pm IST. The show starring by Devayani, Vijayalakshmi, Neenu Karthika, Sathyapriya, Manjari and Dr.Shaji.[1]
The show is produced by Cine Times Entertainment and director by R.Kanesh and Sundar K. Vijayan. The title track was composed by Dhina and sung by Shweta Mohan and M. G. Sreekumar and Lyrics by Vairamuthu. The show last aired on 25 January 2014 and ended with 564 episodes. It was also aired in Sri Lanka Tamil Channel on Shakthi TV.[2][3]
Plot
Mutharam's lead is a Police Officer who fights against criminals is her past life and feels guilty of being a criminal’s daughter. Due to some twists and turns she is forced to wear the uniform again. Her fight against her old and new enemies is the story line.

The show started airing on Sun TV on 14 November 2011. It aired on Monday to Friday 11:00PM IST. Later its timing changed, A show named Sondha Bandham replaced this show at 11:00AM and pushed this serial to 12:30pm IST.
