Nick Sirianni (born June 15, 1981) is an American football coach who is the wide receivers coach for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League (NFL).[1]

Coaching career

Sirianni began coaching the year after he graduated from college at his alma mater, Mt. Union, as the defensive backs coach. From there, he progressed to IUP where he served under Lou Tepper as the wide receivers coach. His leap to the NFL came in 2009 when, after an impressive interview with new coach Todd Haley, he was hired by the Chiefs as the offensive quality control coach.[2] Sirianni was retained under new coach Romeo Crennel and was promoted to wide receivers coach.[3]

Personal

Sirianni, the son of Fran and Amy Sirianni, was born on June 15, 1981[4] and graduated from Southwestern Central High School in 1999. Two of his brothers are also football coaches: Jay, the former head coach of Southwestern, and Mike, the coach of the Washington & Jefferson College.[5]
