Northeastern Technical College is a two-year community college in Cheraw, South Carolina with branches in Pageland, Dillon and Bennettsville The college primarily serves Chesterfield, Marlboro and Dillon counties in South Carolina.
Northeastern Technical College is a 2-year technical school which is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Northeastern Technical College is one of the 16 technical colleges that make up the South Carolina Technical College System, an organization that has contributed nearly $2.5 billion to South Carolina’s economy. During the same time frame, Northeastern Technical College had a cumulative economic impact totaling more than $47 million on its service area, which includes Chesterfield, Marlboro and Dillon counties.[1]
Northeastern offers Associate Degree's in: Arts, Science, Business, Computer Technology, Criminal Justice, Electronics, Nursing, Early Childhood Business, Administrative Office Technology and General Technology. It offers numerous certificate programs including Bookkeeping, Data Processing, Web Page Development, and Welding among others.[2]
As with many other 2 year institutions, Northeastern offers transfer programs to multiple Universities in South Carolina including Francis Marion University, University of South Carolina, Clemson University, Coker College, Lander University, South Carolina State University, Winthrop University and Kaplan College[3]

Demographics
Northeastern Technical College has 1,219 enrolled students, 640 students are full time and 579 students are part time. The campus is diverse; 54% of students are White/Non-Hispanic, 43% are Black/Non-Hispanic, 1% are Native American and 1% are Asian.[4]
Cost
An in-state, full-time student will pay $1,704 a semester. Students may receive a great variety of financial aid, including, but not limited to: Federal Pell Grants, Federal Work-Study, L.I.F.E. scholarship, etc. [5][6]
