Ok Jaanu (English: OK Darling) is an upcoming Indian film directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. It features Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. A. R. Rahman will compose the film's score and soundtrack. while Gulzar is the dialogue writer of this film.[1] It is an official remake of Mani Ratnam's Tamil film OK Kanmani (2015).
The first look was released on 29 February 2016. Principal photography commenced in March 2016.[2] The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 13 January 2017.[3]

Music
The soundtrack and film score is composed by A. R. Rahman. Rahman re-used most of his compositions from the Tamil soundtrack of O Kadhal Kanmani, with the exception of three songs. Rahman has composed three new songs for the film and these songs will be used in place of Parandhu Sella Vaa, Sinamika and Malargal Kaetten that were part of Tamil version. The soundtrack album is described to be "youthful" with carnatic themes.[4]
