Ontario Library Association (OLA), established in 1900, is the oldest continually operating library association in Canada. With 5,000 members, OLA is the largest library association in Canada. OLA has six divisions covering various kinds of libraries (college and university, library and information technology, library boards, public libraries, school libraries, and French libraries).
OLA's annual Super Conference is held in Toronto is late January or early February.[1]
In 2013, OLA moved from the 50 Wellington Street address to their current address at 2 Toronto Street, 3rd Floor, Toronto, Ontario.[2][not in citation given]
Forest of Reading
OLA's Forest of Reading is Canada's largest recreational reading program, that has grown to eight reading awards programs since the early 1990s.[3] More than 250,000 readers participate annually from their School and/or Public Library.[citation needed]
