Parsa (Vidhan Sabha constituency) (Hindi: परसा विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र) is an assembly constituency in Saran district in the Indian state of Bihar.[1]
Overview
As per Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies Order, 2008, No. 121 Parsa (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Dariapur community development block; Shankardih, Anjani, Banouta, Anyay, Baligaw, Marar, Bahar Marar and Parsouna gram panchayats of Parsa CD Block.[2]
Parsa (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of No. 20 Saran (Lok Sabha constituency).[2] It was earlier part of Chapra (Lok Sabha constituency). Sanjay Singh Actor,Producer and Social Activist belongs to this area

1977-2010
In the 2010 and October 2005 state assembly elections, Chhotelal Rai of JD(U) won the Parsa assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Chandrika Rai of RJD. Contests in most years were multi cornered but only winners and runners are being mentioned. Chandrika Rai of RJD defeated Chhotelal Rai of JD(U) in February 2005 and Ram Nath Vidyarthi of Congress in 2000. Chandrika Rai of JD defeated Ram Nath Vidyarthi of SAP in 1995. Chandrika Rai, Independent, defeated Ram Nath Vidyarthi of CPI in 1990. Chandrika Rai of Congress defeated Ram Nath Vidyarthi of CPI in 1985. Daroga Prasad Rai of Congress defeated Ram Nath Singh of CPI in 1980. Ramanand Prasad Yadav of JP defeated Daroga Prasad Rai of Congress in 1977.[3][4]
