Payton Michael Pritchard (born January 28, 1998) is an American college basketball player for the University of Oregon Ducks.
High school career
Pritchard won four consecutive state titles with West Linn High School, while earning 2014 and 2015 Three Rivers League Player of the Year, Oregon Class 6A Player of the Year and 2015 Gatorade Oregon Player of the Year honors. In his senior season (2015-16), he scored 23.6 points a contest, dished out 6.8 assists, pulled down 5.1 rebounds and snagged 3.1 steals per game. A four-star recruit in the ESPN ranking,[1] he committed to the University of Oregon Ducks in August 2015.[2]
College
In his freshman year (2016-17), Pritchard made 39 appearances for the Ducks, averaging 7.4 points, 3.4 boards, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals per outing.
International career
He represented the US at the 2015 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championship, scored 12 points in 14 minutes as a member of the USA Junior National Select Team at the 2016 Nike Hoop Summit[3] and made US squad for the 2017 FIBA U19 World Cup in Egypt.[4]
