Rapid T. Rabbit and Friends is an independently produced children's puppet show that has been cablecast weekly on cable TV in New York City since February 21, 1983. The show runs on the Public-access television cable TV channels on the Manhattan Neighborhood Network, Queens Public TV and airs online every Sunday afternoon over Pawpet Broadcasting Network.
The show is based in Rapid's home of New York City, and follows him and his friends both in town and around the country. In recent years the show has expanded to include Rapid as a mascot. Throughout the years, he has attended many events such as the Ocean City, New Jersey Doo-Dah Parade, the Long Island Ducks Mascot Day, Cheesevention events for Chuck E. Cheese's and ShowBiz Pizza fans, and the New York City Easter Parade.
