The School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM, Chinese: 酒店及旅遊業管理學院) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) was established in 1979 as the Department of Institutional Management and Catering Studies. It was renamed as Department of Hotel and Tourism Management in 1992.
