Sean John McCann
Sean Gerard McCann, also known as Sean John McCann,[1] (born c. 1957) is a Canadian citizen who was one of four suspected members of the Provisional Irish Republican Army arrested by the FBI, with help from the BATF,[2] following a two-month investigation that culminated in the attempted purchase of a Stinger missile in January 1990.[1]
McCann, 33 years old at the time of his arrest, was holidaying in Florida and staying in a trailer park in the southern portion of Palm Beach.[3]
The four men had paid $50,000 to an undercover FBI agent[4] after some of the men arranged to meet the man at a warehouse where he claimed to store stolen military equipment.[3]
