Sirkka Tellervo "Telle" Polkunen, later Vilander (November 6, 1927 – September 28, 2014),[1] was a cross-country skier from Finland who competed during the 1950s. She was born in Jyväskylä. She won a gold medal in the 3 x 5 km at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo. Polkunen also finished 5th in the 10 km event at the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo. Polkunen also won a silver medal in the 3 x 5 km at the 1954 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships and finished 6th in the 10 km event at those same championships.
